Lyndall Dawson trained as a repetiteur at the Guildhall and the National Opera Studio. She has worked for numerous opera and theatre companies in the UK and abroad, amongst them, BBC Proms, Opera Holland Park, ENO, ETO, Buxton Festival, Maria Callas Grand Prix and Sessions Strauss. She has performed on live and recorded television and radio in both the UK (BBC2/ C4/ Radio 3) and Australia (ABC/ 2MBS-FM/ Channel 9).
Lyndall has also been a musical director for a diverse range of productions for cruise lines, chamber ensembles and conservatoire projects. She is currently Head of Music at Mountview Academy where she works as a musical director, coach, tutor and mentor, training young actors and musical directors for the industry.
Maya-Nika Bewley is a recent graduate of the BA Acting (HONS) course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Half Dutch, half Californian, she was raised on an eclectic mix of musical genres, but living in Northern California she grew up surrounded by some of the most fantastic Folk, Bluegrass and Americana that the State had to offer. She spent much of her childhood and teenage years singing in classical and jazz choirs as well as performing in Musical Theatre, but she always seemed to return to folk music. Music was put on a back burner when she decided to attend Drama School in London, but being in such a vibrant and musically diverse city, she is making a slow but steady comeback into the music world, and couldn’t imagine better company to share the stage with.
