I heard you for the first time this morning on Good Morning Sunday. Absolutely enchanting and I can’t wait to get your C.D. Please make more music and have more concerts.
Amazing voice, heard you today on Good Morning Sunday with Aled Jones. Will be buying your album when released.
Keep making music and enjoy your career.
I heard your song named Glorious on Good Morning Sunday with Aled Jones. I enjoyed it a lot. Keep up the good job. Success is on your way and in your destiny, and I like your gentility in your video clip so much. I’ll let all my friends know about your beautiful songs. ;)
Woke up to a beautiful voice singing live this morning on “Saturday Live”. It turned out to be you !!
Amazing story……………Follow your dream, I’m sure you’re going to be a huge international star !
Good luck for the future, although I’m sure you won’t need it.
Honest, I had never heard of Mary-Jess until this morning’s Saturday Live show.
I listened to the “What’s coming up” intro in my usual, sleepy “mildly interested” kind of way. But, what an astonishing story it turned out to be!
It’s not like going to somewhere in Europe, the Commonwealth, or the States, where you’ll get by on the basic Anglo-Saxon culture, but this lassie had only gone to China to study, and whilst there, entered a local televised talent show. with an audience of millions.
So far,so what, as I lay in my scratcher?
But the story unfolds, and, to what should be to our eternal gratitude, the listeners are told that this young English student, a foreigner (obviously) only goes on to win the competition!!!
Okay, I’m interested now, and the story (which I’d completely missed) then has a wonderful fairytale ending, where our siren is signed up to a major record label.
And then, for me, literally, the wake-up moment, when invited by Richard Coles to sing, I hear the most wonderful, unaccompanied and beautiful rendition, of part of the song that swayed the Chinese folk to take her to their hearts.
What a voice and surely, Britain too, will fall in love with such a natural talent?
I too heard this wonderful voice for the first time on the Saturday Live show and was taken to another place by the sheer beauty of Mary-Jess’s voice Can’t wait to hear more

Mary-Jess sang two songs at the ‘Gloucestershire Performs’ event at Gloucester Cathedral on 30th September. No orchestral backing, just a guitar accompaniment. Simply beautiful <3 (the songs and the singer ;-) ).
Hi! You have such a beautiful voice, we meet, and heard you sing at Highclere Castle on the 16th October! Our love and best wishes to you for your new album! x
